Brian Goldsworthy | Partner
Brian brings a unique and powerful skill set to Criminal Law. He has great success at having charges withdrawn, dismissed, or defended at trial. His goal is to provide the best possible outcome while reducing cost to the client. He has been successful at the Alberta Court of Justice, the Alberta Court of Kings Bench, the Territorial Court of Yukon, and the Supreme Court of the Yukon. Prior to offering Worker's Compensation Law representation in Alberta, Brian was an associate lawyer for the largest Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) practice in Ontario. Brian was a previous career firefighter and understands the hardships of being injured. He can empathize with these workplace injuries to achieve the solution you deserve.

Jessica Tuomisto | Student-at-law
Jessica started her legal career as a legal assistant, supporting lawyers specialized in insurance, personal injury, and complex civil litigation. She is currently our student-at-law and is expected to be called to the Alberta Bar in early 2025. She graduated with a First-Class Honours Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree in England in 2022 and served as the team captain and lead speaker in an international moot for two consecutive years. After that, she pursued her Master of Laws (LL.M.) in California at UCLA School of Law, where she was awarded the Dean's Tuition Fellowship and graduated with Pro Bono Distinction in 2023. During law school, she studied the legal systems of three countries and is an expert in common law. Upon returning home, Jessica has dedicated her skills to helping those in need.

Chiamaka Onwuekwe holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Ottawa – graduating on the Dean’s list. She also completed her Bachelor of Law (Juris Doctor) at the University of Leicester in 2024.
Fluent in English and French, Chiamaka has experience as a House of Commons Page and as a Proceedings and Verifications Officer. Chiamaka was recognized with the Governor General of Canada Medal for volunteerism and enjoys reading, golfing, and traveling in her spare time.

Matt Goldsworthy | Operations Manager

Matt studied English Literature at York University in Toronto and went on to finish the Legal Administration program at VCC in Vancouver. Following his studies he successfully managed various businesses in Hospitality and large-scale Event Coordination. His bilingual fluency (Spanish) assists our clients in communicating comfortably. With many years of experience in Customer Service, Matt is focused on providing an exceptional client experience. He is committed to delivering personalized connections and maintaining highly responsive, professional communication for our clients.
